Your Wrapped, whenever you want
The yearly Wrapped comes once, in December, and only on some services. Trackhop makes a card in the same spirit any day you like, from any service you use: Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, TIDAL, Deezer, Qobuz, or your own Navidrome, Jellyfin or Plex. Make one now, another in three months, and compare them. It is free, open source, and nothing is uploaded: the card is made on your phone.
What’s on the card?
- Top artists: the artists that fill your playlists the most.
- Decades: how your music splits across the 60s, 70s, 80s and on, as percentages.
- Your musical age: “you listen like someone born in…”, worked out from when your songs came out.
- The numbers: songs in your playlists, artists, and hours (or minutes) of music.
- Oldest song and latest addition.
- Services: which of your services the card was made from.
It comes in two sizes, a tall one for stories and a square one for posts, ready to share.
How is it different from Spotify Wrapped?
Spotify Wrapped counts what you played during the year, from Spotify’s own listening data. Trackhop cannot see your plays: it reads what you keep, your liked songs and the playlists you made, and makes the card from that. So it is not a replacement for the year-end recap; it is a portrait of your library, available whenever you want and on any service. The upside is that it works the same on services that have no Wrapped at all, and it can mix several of them into one card if you use more than one.
How do I make my Wrapped card?
- Install Trackhop on Android (download).
- Connect your service: Accounts → Add connector, signing in on the service’s own page. One service is enough.
- Open the Discover tab and tap Your Wrapped, whenever you want.
- Under Services to include, tick the services to read (your choice is remembered for next time).
- Tap Make my card. Trackhop reads your liked songs and playlists, counts, and shows the card.
- Share it as a story or a square image, or just keep it.
A big library takes a little while to read; the page shows how many songs it has found so far.
Does it keep my old cards?
Yes. Every card you make goes into the History under it, with the date it was Made on. Tap an older one to see it again, or Delete this Wrapped to drop it (with Undo). Make a new one whenever your playlists have changed: after a summer of new music, the musical age and the decades often move more than you would expect.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. The card is computed on your phone from what your services already return to Trackhop. Trackhop has no server; nothing leaves the phone unless you share the image yourself.
More in the Discover tab
- Playlist roast: a ruthless (and affectionate) take on your taste, written by your own AI, if you have set up a key in Tools → Playlist generator.
- Universal link: a playlist or a song that opens on the service of whoever receives it.
- How compatible are we?: you and a friend, even on different services, with a playlist of the songs you share. See Compatibility cards and posters.
- Playlist poster: covers, title and a QR code that opens the playlist, to print or share.
- Vanished songs: the songs that left your playlists, from your backups.
And in Tools, the Playlist generator builds a new playlist from artists you like, with no key needed.
